Australia has recently released their 2020 Australian Defense strategic update, and Van Jackson believes it implies that the U.S. won’t be able to protect them from China. He also thinks that Australia plans on upping their modern warfare strategies to deter China by themselves without help from the outside world. Their prime minister also recently noted that they plan to increase their defense budget in upcoming months.
