WWII warbirds arrive in Hawaii for historic flyovers to commemorate end of war 75 years ago | Stars & Stripes

These airplanes made a trip from San Diego to Hawaii and are scheduled to do flyovers in honor of the end of WWII, the 75th anniversary. Viewers can sit and watch the flyover from Waikiki Beach on August 29th and August 30th.The planes will also be available to see from the western part of Oahu. However, the final fly over will take place on September 2nd after a ceremony aboard the Battleship Missouri Memorial in Pearl Harbor. This will take place on the anniversary of Japan surrendering.
