MH-47 helo, task saturated and under PKM fire, had zero visibility prior to fatal 2017 mishap | Army Times

Three years ago, a MH-47 helicopter was dropping off British special operation soldiers and U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan and was engulfed in what is being called ‘brown out conditions’ and caused the vessel to hit the tree. The MH-47′s co-pilot, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Jacob Sims, passed away due to the accident and 6 others were injured.
