Two ex-U.S. Special Forces soldiers are being sentenced to twenty years in prison after an attempted attack on President Nicolas Maduro. Lawyers have tried to come to defend them in the Venezuelan courthouse but have been denied. They believe this is against their constitutional rights. Luke Denman and Airan Berry are the two former Green Berets recently charged, and the Venezuelan government announced they are still holding more trials for others involved in the coup attempt.
