As warfare turns away from a traditional meet up on the battlefield involving tanks and guns, the U.S. has been turning to new ideas such as AI, biotech, aerospace, and robotic technology. The Department of Defense has also been working on their Third Offset Strategy that seeks to improve technological capabilities and improve readiness. These new ideas involve a different combination of utilization between the private sector, special adaptations created for the military, and more university research on developing concepts.
