A man who ran into the gates of the residence of Canada’s top officials has been identified. The residence houses the Governor General as well as Prime Minister Trudeau and his family. They were not home at the time. The man was an active duty Canadian Ranger. He was identified as 46-year-old Corey Hureen. The attack is under investigation and motives have not been released yet, but the police believe that he has acted alone.
