Combat patches approved for US soldiers in Saudi Arabia since oil facilities attack | Military.com

This patch first introduced after WWI honors those who wear it for their military service and their personal sacrifice in dangerous combat zones. It has now been approved for those who served in Saudi Arabia after a series of drone and cruise missile attacks targeted Saudi Arabi oil facilities. Those who have been permitted to wear the patch must have either the combat zone tax exclusion or the hostile fire and imminent danger pay.
