Hajj is celebrated by many but this year according to Saudi Arabian officials COVID-19 will change how the holiday is celebrated. In order to protect and preserve human life which according to officials is a key component of Islam social distancing measures will be implemented and Hajj will only be celebrated in Saudi Arabi by residents in order to control the amount of people traveling. Some places in Saudi Arabia are still under a 24-hour curfew.
