When did the coronavirus start spreading in the U.S.? Likely in January, CDC analysis suggests | STAT News

According to the CDC, after two statements previously made, it is believed that the coronavirus first hit the U.S. during late January or early February. Analysts believe that it came to the U.S. and started its infestation on the West Coast. The first positive test was in Washington State on February 25th, but some believe it started here before that. Many people traveled during the holiday season. The U.S. corona-related deaths account for 28% of global deaths related to Corona according to the CDC.
