Peru seemed to do everything right. So how did it become a Covid-19 hotspot? | CNN

85% of ICU beds in Peru are occupied. However, in early March Peru took measures that other countries didn’t, but they still remain the second country with the most cases in Latin America next to Brazil, that took a lose approach. One reason, reports CNN is that the socio-economic status of people in the country might have led to a domino effect of those who simply cannot afford to protect themselves.
