Peru seemed to do everything right. So how did it become a Covid-19 hotspot? | CNN

85% of ICU beds in Peru are occupied. However, in early March Peru took measures that other countries didnā€™t, but they still remain the second country with the most cases in Latin America next to Brazil, that took a lose approach. One reason, reports CNN is that the socio-economic status of people in the country might have led to a domino effect of those who simply cannot afford to protect themselves.
