The U.S. has accused Russia of sending fighter aircrafts to Libya in order to support their mercenaries operating in the area. The U.S. military’s Africa Command has commented that the plane was painted camouflage in order to hide its origin. Vladimir Dzhabarov, first deputy head of the upper house’s international affairs committee, claims that there are no Russian troops in Libya and that the Russian upper house of parliament has not approved dispatching a fighter aircraft to the area.
