Gen. Markus Kreitmayr, the commander of the Bundeswehr’s Special Forces Command, has written a letter about extreme right-wing troops. “I do not mean to exaggerate with the fact that our association is currently experiencing the most difficult phase in its history,” Kreitmayr commented. He told over 1,000 troops under his command that those who express extremist views will be removed from the military. This comes shortly after a sergeant-major in the KSK was arrested for concealing a supply of weapons, ammunition, and plastic explosives.
