U.S. small firms leave $150 billion in coronavirus stimulus untapped | Reuters

The Bank of the West in Grapevine, Texas has reported that since the first few crazy weeks of the coronavirus pandemic, relief loan applications have dried up. On May 15th, the bank stopped taking application entirely. This is a story shared by many banks as they have seen a major reduction in loan requests these past couple weeks. Currently the program is still active but the Small Business Administration shows net weekly PPP lending is actually negative as of mid-May.
