All soldiers know the Airborne Ranger cadence “C-130 Rollin’ Down the Strip, 64 Rangers on a one-way trip. Mission Top Secret, destination unknown.” While cadences are a little more politically correct now, you may still hear a “Jody” cadence called down a back trail. Now, soldiers are starting to call a new cadence centered on the coronavirus. Some of the lines include never getting out of the army, standing six feet apart, and cancelling family day. Connecting Vets Radio has a full script of the cadence and a video of it being called.
