As attacks led by the Islamic State in Syria have been on the rise, U.S. special operation forces and their allies have coordinating more raids. Coalition officials have reported that U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces completed successful missions on both Wednesday and Thursday against terror cells. This report has come in at the same time officials expressed concern over the growing number of terror attacks in the Deir el-Zour area. An SDF source has also noted that many of the attacks led by the Islamic State have involved the use of IEDs. The coalition officials have stated that while the number of attacks have been on the rise, there is no cause for concern.
