Many people are concerned that when they go to the grocery store, gas station, and other necessary public location they will be exposed to the coronavirus. Now, major companies are working to develop an app for your smartphone that will inform you if you have crossed paths with someone who has the virus, known as an “exposure notification.” Apple and Google are working together to release a system that uses Bluetooth to share the information across both Apple and Android products. Health officials will then be able to upload information so people can be notified if they came into contact with someone who has since tested positive.
