Bryan Buckley, the CEO of Helmand Valley Growers Company joined the Marine Corps after the events of 9/11 and spent most of his career as a Marine Raider in the Marine Corps Special Operations Command. During his time, he deployed to Iraq, Africa, Southeast Asia and Afghanistan. Following his military career Buckley discovered the opioid crisis and concern for veterans who were suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress. He turned to cannabis and made strides to discover how medical marijuana could help struggling veterans. His nonprofit, Battle Brothers Foundation, also works on collecting information regarding medical marijuana and speaks with Congress on allowing more veterans access to the treatments.
