The Small Business Administration has confirmed that 7,913 small businesses who applied for an economic injury disaster loan had their personal information exposed on the website. The impacted section of the website was taken down immediately once the issue was discovered. Exposed information included Social Security numbers, emails, phone numbers, and addresses. The SBA has since resolved the issue and has relaunched the portal and affected website areas. Those who might have been affected are being offered one year free of credit monitoring.
