There have been numerous conflicting reports lately regarding the health of the North Korea leader Kim Jong Un. After missing a major ceremony, many believe he could be gravely ill despite the government claiming this is not true but have yet to provide an explanation. If Kim were to die, what would happen next? Retired South Korean Lt. Gen. Chun In-Bum believes there would be extreme chaos and suffering in the country. Other officials believe it could require a major intervention by the U.S. and South Korea on a scale that would make the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq seem like nothing.
