When will a second wave of the coronavirus hit, and what will it look like? | USA Today

While the first wave of the coronavirus continues to rage, scientists have been warning officials of the second wave that will follow. Many experts believe the second wave could be more deadly than the first as people who stayed indoors are exposed to it. There is a chance however, that while the number of cases may skyrocket it may show that more people are immune or are asymptomatic than expected. Director of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research Peter Marks has commented that until there is a vaccine, we will mostly likely experience third and fourth waves. There is also still no solid answer on how many people could be immune or if you can catch the virus a second time.
