Special Forces have been conducting training exercises throughout the deserts in Syria this past week in spite of the ongoing pandemic. The Green Berets participated in live-fire mobility exercises using M-ATV Special Forces Vehicles and the mounted .50-caliber Common Remotely Operated Weapon Station. Dismounted AT4 rockets were also fired from the vehicles. The U.S. military forces in Syria have commented that the locals are not taking the virus very seriously. A spokesman for Operation Inherent Resolve has stated that there are plans in place for when a service member tests positive for the virus. Many believe it is only a matter of time before the country and troops stationed there are hit by a large wave of the virus.
