United States Marine Inc. has been awarded a five-year contract by U.S. Special Operations Command. The contract is worth $108 million and entails the production of a special operations boat, the Combatant Craft Assault. Construction of the vessels will be completed in Gulfport, Mississippi, and all is expected to be completed by April 13, 2025. It is unclear if another contract or extension will be awarded following the completion of the boats.
