An operation that took place along the Line of Control in the Keran sector resulted in the death of five Pakistan terrorists. Army spokesperson Col Aman Anand commented that the Army troops engaged a group of terrorists when they were spotted. The entire terrorist group of five was eliminated after heavy combat. During the confrontation though, five special forces troops were killed. Four of the soldiers were from a Para Special Forces Units and airdropped into the area after a report stating there was local terrorist activity.
