Numerous celebrities and professional sports players have been able to get tested for the coronavirus relatively easy, whether they were showing symptoms or not. However, every news agency has been reporting on the lack of testing kits, and people are regularly getting turned away. Not one celebrity has responded to comments asking how they were able to get their hands on tests so quickly, especially with some not even showing any symptoms. One possible answer is their access to exclusive healthcare, very expensive practices that don’t take insurance. These doctors most likely stocked up on supplies once the virus began to spread. One doctor, David Nazarian, MD, provides house call visits in Beverly Hills and has spoken on what he has done. “We tried to prepare in advance by gathering and ordering the needed testing materials as soon as possible, and placed orders with various medical supply companies,” he commented. While Nazarian didn’t state his prices, another doctor with a similar focus said he charges $1,500 for a house call and coronavirus test.
