What it’s like to be infected with coronavirus | The Washington Post

Must Read

Numerous reports from those with the coronavirus said that at first, they just had a general sickly feeling, almost as if they had a cold. Then a couple days later a headache developed followed by a fever and body aches. Almost everyone has also experienced a bad cough, throat pain, and even shortness of breath. Overall the virus can play out in everyone differently, but it usually takes longer to come on and lingers for weeks rather than coming and going in a few days. Many of those who catch it do not require hospitalization, and it often takes a more psychological toll on patients. Many have said the fear of how bad the symptoms could be due to horror stories was worse than actually having the virus.
