States with the highest amount of coronavirus cases will be getting more drive-through testing sites. These sites will be capable of testing 2,000 to 4,000 people a day, with senior citizens and healthcare workers given priority. This announcement comes shortly after the realization that some of the test kits distributed earlier on were defective. President Trump has received a mix of both praise and criticism, with some saying he should have taken action sooner against the virus. Declaring the virus a national emergency has now allowed billions of dollars to be allocated for erecting field hospitals and testing centers if necessary.
