Most parents are trying to figure out what to do now that the coronavirus has shut down schools across the countries. Many kids are already stir crazy, and spring break vacations have been cancelled. Forbes has compiled a list of activities and ideas to help everyone stay busy over the next few weeks. First, create a calendar that everyone participates in and shows what is going on each day. Another option is to look into educational websites and homeschooling packets/books as something more productive and learning based compared to just video games and YouTube. Certain places you would normally visit such as the zoo are also offering new distance features such as the Yellowstone National Park and Georgia Aquarium where you can do virtual tours and watch webcams. Another idea is to write letters to a local nursing home or children’s hospital, as they are quarantined from visitors.
