Voyager 1 and 2 currently remain the only human made objects to be in interstellar space. Currently, it takes 17 hours for communication between Voyager 2 and Earth to reach one another. On January 25th, the spacecraft committed a move that drew too much power and tripped the safety software, causing a shut down. After several weeks of work however, Voyager 2 is back to its normal operations and continues to explore the universe outside our solar system.
