5th SFG soldier charged with alleged assault of role-player during military training | Clarksville Now

5th Special Forces Group Master Sgt. John J. Hasenbein and his team conducted a training exercise at Fort Knox in March of 2019. He has since been accused of assaulting one of the role players. The actor, Mr. Altameemi, received a traumatic brain injury, nasal bone fracture, blunt facial trauma, and a scalp hematoma after being struck multiple times by Hasenbein. Altameemi was also struck by him on the head numerous times with the muzzle of a pistol. During the training, Altameemi was handcuffed and supposed to be taken down. Following the initial work however, the assault was continued by Hasenbein despite the actor saying the safe word multiple times and bleeding.
