The Pentagon has released a guideline for service members to follow when operating technology systems that utilize Artificial Intelligence. As more AI is integrated into more aspects of the military, officials are working to ensure the public trusts the ability of the systems. Robots and drones are some of the more common systems that sometimes use AI. The released guidelines state for users to use good judgement and care when operating the systems and that all AI enabled tech will have a remote shut off. Previously, the only requirements laid out was that there had to be a human operator behind the wheel of all AI technology.
