Officials have released the list of health clinics that will only serve active duty members. Around 200,000 retirees and active-duty family members will be forced to find a new health care provider once the changes have taken effect. Another four facilities will be downgrading as well by only taking families when necessary. Officials are claiming the changes are for ‘military readiness’ and not for a cost decrease, but those affected and the numbers say otherwise. Those who have to switch to Tricare Select will now have annual fees and copays for each doctor and specialty visit.
