Must Read

SOF and advanced police selection programs see a wide variety of candidates, from Olympic and pro level sports players to the average person. No matter what your background is, everyone is prone to injury during these grueling courses. Preventing injury while you prepare for selection will allow you to get the most out of your training. First, actively seek recovery and be aware of the time your body needs to recover or rest. The most important thing to keep in mind is flexibility and mobility. Warmups and cooldowns are essential in keeping your body stretched and ready for your workout in order to avoid injury. Also, avoid activities where you are likely to get hurt, such as martial arts, high-impact sports, motocross, and ultra-marathons.
