The U.K.’s 28th season of “Top Gear/World Tour” has stepped it up again and challenged a McLaren and an F-35 to a race. The jet is currently being flown by the Royal Air Force, has a top speed of 1,200 mph, and costs $116 million. The McLaren Speedtail comes in with a top speed of 250 mph, a zero to 200 of 14 seconds, and goes for $2.24 million. The aircraft and vehicle raced around a triangle-shaped track with hard corners that are designed to even the playing field. The episode won’t be released in the U.S. until March, but people are already doing the numbers to determine which one will win.
