The Armed Forces of the Philippines have taken the next step in strengthening their military ties with the U.S. The Philippine Army is now hosting their counter-terrorism training with the United States Army throughout the month of February. Known as Balance Piston 20-1, this is the first time the Philippine Army will host the annual training, and it includes personnel from the US Army’s 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) and the Philippine Army’s 18th Special Forces Company, Special Forces Regiment (Airborne).
