Lockheed adds Dunford, former top U.S. military officer, to board | Defense News

Must Read

Retired Marine General Joe Dunford has been added to the board of directors for Lockheed Martin. He will become the 12th board member starting February 10th and will serve as the board’s Classified Business and Security Committee as well as its Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Marillyn Hewson, the company’s CEO, commented that “General Dunford’s service to the nation at the highest levels of military leadership will bring valuable insight to our board.” Not everyone is nearly as excited to hear the announcement however, with some viewing this as a continuation of Pentagon members and the defense industry essentially having a revolving door.
