A California-based company, Mojo Vision, has been quietly working to create smart contact lenses. When wearing them, a user will be able to view their calendar and messages, control their music, and more. This means nobody is able to see what the user sees. While they are still several years away from hitting the shelves, the contact lenses are currently in the research and development stages. The company boasts about members and researchers from major tech companies such as Google, Apple, and Microsoft. Prototype contact lenses have a screen the size of a dot made from a pen. Research is also focusing on designing the lenses for those who need corrective vision.
