Air Force Brig. Gen. (sel.) Michael Conley has been named the vice commander of the Space Operations Command. Selected by U.S. Space Force Gen. John Raymond, Conley will now be a part of what used to be the 14th Air Force before the enactment of the Space Force. He will be replacing the previous vice commander of the 14th Air Force Brig. Gen. Matthew Wolfe Davidson, who was previously in the Air Force Special Operations Command. This new command functions to provide “space-based” abilities to the U.S. and their allies.
