Must Read

Wednesday November 20th marked the completion of a jump for the rough terrain airborne operations from the 57th Sapper Company after four cancellations. The 57th Sapper Company, “ROUGH TERRAIN,” is known for completing air drops of personnel and equipment into areas without an established drop zone. Their history can be traced back to WWII smoke jumpers with the 555th Parachute Infantry Battalion “TRIPLE NICKLES”. This can also be used however, in other scenarios, such as natural disaster response.
