One member of U.S. Embassy in Baghdad injured on rocket attack | ABC 13 News

A Monday report has confirmed that a member of the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad was injured by an airstrike that occurred overnight. Two anonymous staff members said they could not confirm the severity of the injuries received, but that they occurred when a rocket slammed into a restaurant inside the embassy. At least five rockets landed in the Green Zone during the attack, but no further injuries have yet to be reported. The U.S. has been blaming Iranian militants for the recent attacks, and the Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi criticized the strike and confirmed their belief in protecting diplomats within the country.
