CBS has confirmed that President Trump’s top Russia adviser, Andrew Peek, has been put on administrative leave. Peek had allegedly been under investigation before he was detailed to the White House in November. All departments have declined to comment on the case, and Peek’s email was unable to be reached. He previously served as an U.S. Army intelligence officer where he was an adviser on intelligence and special operations to General John Allen. Peek is the third Russia adviser, preceded by Tim Morrison and Fiona Hill who both testified before Congress for the impeachment investigation of President Trump.
