The world’s richest and most powerful people have been attending the World Economic Forum in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland. 22% of the attendees this year are women, with the event regularly being criticized for largely being made up of men. In 2011 a new quota system was enacted that required businesses to bring at least one female for every man. Close to 5% of the attendees are billionaires, including Founder and CEO of Salesforce, Marc Benioff, and Facebook COO, Sheryl Sandberg. The lowest tier of WEF membership comes in at $28,000 to attend, with higher levels coming to a peak at $620,000.
