President Trump, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and managing director of the International Monetary Fund Kristalina Georgieva are just three of the 3,000 attendees who will be at the World Economic Forum held in Davos this year. Switzerland and the WEF have their hands full with the majority of responsibility for security falling on them. Soldiers will be patrolling the streets of the town and conducting checks on personnel, bags, and vehicles. Snipers will also be placed on the rooftops with more security measures taken inside the Congress Center. The Canton of Grisons has commented that additional security measures for the event have rung up a cost of over $9 million.
