After three sailors were killed and eight more wounded by a Saudi Air Force lieutenant on Naval Air Station Pensacola, the investigators are calling for Apple to unlock his two phones. Calling the mass shooting an act of terrorism, the FBI and attorneys are stressing the importance of needing to know who he was communicating with, and if there is other incriminating evidence for future attacks on the cellphones. While Apple has given the FBI iCloud data, they are refusing to unlock the phone, claiming this would undermine their encryption software.
