The killing of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani has been a controversial topic. While almost everyone agrees that he was a terrible person who got what he deserved, some believe the way the U.S. went about it was highly irresponsible. “The good” behind his death is that the general contributed to the death of hundreds of American soldiers and staged numerous attacks on embassies and organizations. The world is a safer place without Soleimani in it. However, killing him in another country while he was supposedly travelling to discuss peace talks has caused an uproar in Iran. The decision also seems to have been made in haste without consideration of the consequences, making the White House appear reckless.
