The ‘Jeopardy!’ Greatest of All Time Tournament reveals a brutal truth about life that few people are willing to admit | Inc.

Must Read

Brad Rutter, Ken Jennings and James Holzhauer were the most successful contestants on Jeopardy! between the number of games and money won. Jennings has three wins, needing only one more to be declared the ultimate champion. Holzhauer has one win. Rutter has zero. More comes into play here than just being smart, such as physical, mental and strategic aspects. In order to win, the player has to control the board, something Jennings and Holzhauer have accomplished with training to hit the buzzer at just the right time. Factoring in the risk element is also important. If a contestant isn’t willing to take a risk and bet everything on the ‘daily doubles,’ they won’t see enough return to win.
