Hundreds swim to honor fallen Navy SEALs | WFLA

The 11th Annual Tampa Bay Frogman 5K Swim saw a turnout of more than 180 participants this past week. Swimming 3.1 miles from Gandy Beach to Picnic Island, the swimmers are raising money for the Navy SEAL Foundation. $4 million has been raised in the past ten years for Gold Star families from the event. The Navy SEAL Foundation provides assistance to families of wounded and fallen SEALs, as well as provides a way for people to connect to others that are going through the same difficulties.
