National Guard drops two Georgians after investigating extremist ties | AJC

Must Read

Dalton Woodward and Trent East are both members of a neo-pagan sect known as Asatru Folk Assembly. The members fell under investigation after an activist group published a report claiming the two men had ties to a hate group. Woodward was currently active duty when the investigations concluded in October, leading him to be discharged from the National Guard. Both men have declined to comment on their ties and beliefs regarding white supremacy. Woodward has been recommended to receive a general discharge which would disqualify him from certain veteran benefits, such as the GI Bill.
