The Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve are often called upon by the Air Force Special Operations Command for assistance in completing missions. There has been a disconnect and timing problem, however, between the groups, with reservists not always having enough time to prepare for the mission. The GOA found that the Command struggles to notify the Reserve and Air National Guard of the missions in a timely manner, fails to provide needed equipment and information, and has difficulty coordinating what the Command needs from the ARC. A recommended solution to combat these issues was to develop a method where consolidated information could be shared instantly.
