Petty Officer Beirut Pakbara has passed away after an infection he picked up during a daring cave rescue. Pakbara was one of the Thai Navy SEALs who rescued a boys soccer team and their coach after they became trapped in a flooded cave. He had been fighting the infection for the past year but was unable to fight it off after it reached his blood stream. He is the second SEAL to have died from the rescue mission, with Saman Kunan having run out of oxygen during the mission.
