David Calhoun has recently been named the Chief Executive of Boeing after the previous CEO, Dennis Muilenburg, was fired. This comes as a result of the falling stock prices following two 737 MAX aircraft crashes. The production of the aircraft has been suspended longer than expected with no current date set to lift the suspension. Calhoun is no newbie to dealing with corporate turmoil, however. He stepped into chairman of Caterpillar Inc following the federal agent raid of its headquarters and headed a division of General Electric after the 9/11 terrorist attack.
